DAF Trucks has made further changes to its senior management, with Louis Jones being promoted to the position of Marketing and Business Intelligence Director. The news follows the appointment of James Stewart as UK Sales Director for DAF Trucks UK & Ireland earlier in 2026. 

As Marketing and Business Intelligence Director, Jones will be responsible for marketing, customer service, business analysis and sales engineering. Having joined DAF Trucks more than two years ago as EV & Connected Services Director, he will continue to look after DAF Trucks’ electric vehicle developments alongside his new role for the foreseeable future. As he joins the company’s senior management team, Jones will now report directly to Nigel Beckett, Managing Director, DAF Trucks UK & Ireland. 

Jones commented: “As the commercial vehicle industry continues to evolve at a fast pace, there is an ever-increasing need to better understand all areas of our business – especially the needs and requirements of our drivers and customers. As part of the DAF Trucks UK & Ireland senior management team, I look forward to working with operators to provide them with effective, integrated and straight forward solutions that will help improve their business.” 

Meanwhile, the company has also promoted Luke Agius to Retail Parts Sales Director for the UK & Ireland, where he will report to Gareth Halliwell, Parts Sales & Marketing Director, UK & Ireland. Agius brings 12 years of experience within PACCAR, having held positions of increasing responsibility across both the UK and the US in that time. Since joining DAF Trucks in 2014 as a Parts Support Analyst, he has undertaken a variety of roles with PACCAR Parts UK and PACCAR Parts in Renton, Washington, including Fleet Parts Sales Manager and MDI Program Manager for Kenworth.

In a further sales management announcement, Graham Crouch has joined DAF Trucks as Sales Engineering Manager. A qualified DAF Master Technician, Crouch brings a wealth of product knowledge and dealer experience to the truck manufacturer.

Finally, Andy Mudie has been promoted to the role of Aftersales Services Manager from Aftersales Systems and DAFaid Manager – a role he has held since 2024. With more than 30 years’ experience of commercial vehicles, Mudie recently completed a Level 7 Institute of Management qualification through his roles as a British Army Reserve Warrant Officer in the Royal, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
